Summary
This unctuous yet simple dish is a great and easy appetiser for dinner parties or lunchtime treat.
Ingredients:
320g Sheet frozen puff pastry
227g Brie Wheel
2-3 tsps melted butter
150g Classic Apricot Chutney
113g flaked almonds

Cooking Method

  1. Preheat oven to 190°C/fan170°C/gas 5.Unfold the puff pastry sheet and place the wheel of Brie in the centre.

  2. Top the Brie generously with the Classic Apricot Chutney and spread evenly (almost to the edges of the Brie) then sprinkle over the flaked almonds.

  3. Fold the puff pastry over the toppings and squeeze the edges together in the centre.

  4. Brush the sides and top with beaten egg the place on a baking sheet lined with foil and bake for 20 minutes or until the pastry is cooked through and golden brown.

  5. Allow to rest for 2-3 minutes before serving with crackers and fresh fruit.
