Thai Sweet Chilli Halloumi Skewers

Springy halloumi cheese, pan-fried in a sticky sweet chilli sauce
2 blocks of halloumi
220ml bottle Thai Sweet Chilli Sauce
2tbsp sesame seeds
2tbsp olive oil
Wooden skewers, soaked in water

Cooking Method

  1. Cut halloumi into large rectangle shaped pieces (they should be like large slabs, rather than small and thin pieces)

  2. Drizzle a generous serving of our Thai Sweet Chilli Sauce over each slab of halloumi

  3. Heat a frying pan over a medium heat before adding each slice of halloumi, cook until gently browned on each side

  4. Once cooked, place on a serving platter and insert wooden skewers into each cooked slice

  5. To finish, drizzle over more Thai Sweet Chilli Sauce and sesame seeds
