Wheatcroft Garden Centre Trio Promo

We place the promotion on its own table and make use of the free point of sale Cottage Delight provide to make it clear to customers what the offer is. When we placed our first order we decided to hold tastings so our customers could try before purchasing. They proved popular as they helped sell off the display and we quickly placed another order to replenish the stock.

Blackbrooks Gluten Free

We have had a gluten free area for over 2 years but recently extended the food hall and over the festive period we made an even larger section specifically for free from. We have seen continued growth and we don’t see the end of that demand going anywhere soon from the reports we see. The range from Cottage Delight has great depth and very appealing and it tastes delicious.

We are so pleased that sales are up over 16% against last year. Our Territory Business Manager Alex and I work together on a regular basis to track best sellers, making sure they are always in stock. He also assists the team on the shop floor giving them ideas for merchandising on both the stands and tables. We organise tastings in store, featuring products such as the all butter cakes, we see significant increases in sales when these take place. 

The new CD brand looks fabulous. It’s a real breath of fresh air, contrasting from the current look in a colourful, contemporary way. It still has a good homemade style feel about it, but is much more eye catching. The new point of sale is also fabulous, the cut out shapes add more dimension and the bright colours are vibrant and interesting.
