Summary
The perfect indulgent meal for lovers of all things steak and cheese!
Ingredients:
400g plain flour, plus extra to dust
1 x g sachet fast action dried yeast
1tsp salt
1tsp caster sugar
2tbsp olive oil, plus extra to drizzle
1tbsp polenta or semolina to roll out
200g Ribeye Steak
6tbsp Smoky BBQ Sauce
1 Green bell pepper, sliced
2 large flat mushrooms, sliced
1 small onion, thinly sliced
60g blue cheese, crumbled
200g mozzarella

Cooking Method

  1. Mix the flour, yeast, salt and sugar together in a mixing bowl. Make a well in the centre and add the oil. Then add 225ml luke-warm water to bring together as a dough. Tip out onto a floured surface and knead for 5 minutes, just until smooth and shiny

  2. Thinly slice mushrooms, pepper and onion and set aside

  3. Thinly slice your ribeye steak and fry in a hot pan for around 5 minutes or until cooked through. Set aside.  Using the same pan, partly cook the sliced toppings and discard of juices
