Goat's Cheese Tart

A super simply and delicious light bite.
150g Soft goat’s cheese
60g Creme fraiche
1 Sheet puff pastry
½ bunch rocket
1 Large egg (beaten)
50g Walnuts (toasted)
4Tbsp Real Ale Yorkshire Chutney

Cooking Method

  1. Preheat oven to 220°C/200°C fan. Grease a large oven tray, line with baking paper and roll out puff pastry sheet. Leave to one side.

  2. Place the goat’s cheese and creme fraiche in a bowl and combine using a fork.

  3. Using a sharp knife, score a 2cm border in from the edge of the pastry then brush the edge with beaten egg.

  4. Within the border of the pastry, spread Real Ale Yorkshire Chutney to create a base. Scatter the cheese mixture over and bake for 18-20 minutes until the pastry is puffed up and golden. Stand for 5 minutes and scatter with rocket and walnuts to serve.
