- Sweet and oh-so-simple. Mince beef gets a fruity twist with a cool finish.
- Ingredients:
- 1tbsp chilli powder
- 1tsp salt
- ½tsp black pepper
- 900g mince beef
- 3tbsp teriyaki sauce
- 1tbsp grated fresh ginger
- 3 garlic cloves, finely grated
- 1 ripe sliced mango
- Salt and pepper
- 6 toasted seeded rolls
- Cottage Delight Poppodom Mango Chutney
- Salad, to serve
- Sweet potato fries, to serve
Cooking Method
Preheat the grill to high. Combine the minced beef, teriyaki sauce, ginger, garlic salt and black pepper in a medium bowl. Mix with your hands until combined. Form into six burgers and place on a wire rack set on a rimmed baking sheet.
Grill the patties until lightly charred in spots, about 4 minutes per side for medium rare.
Meanwhile peel the mango and thinly slice.
Serve the burgers on the buns with Poppodom Mango Chutney, salad and sliced mango. Serve with a fruity coleslaw and sweet potato fries.
