Ingredients:
700g broccoli, chopped
55g unsalted butter
1tbsp plain flour
1 onion, chopped
250ml milk
300g Cheddar cheese
1 egg, beaten
4tbsp English Country Cider Chutney

Cooking Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 170°C/150°C fan/gas 3.

  2. In a large pan of boiling water, cook the broccoli until tender but still firm, drain.

  3. In a medium sized saucepan over a medium heat, melt the butter. Add the flour and cook until the mixture starts to bubble. Add the onion before gradually adding the milk and stirring well. Bring the mixture to a boil and cook for a further 1 minute.

  4. Remove from heat and season with salt and pepper. Stir in cheese and eggs; mix well. Combine mixture with broccoli and English Country Cider Chutney. Transfer to a 9×13 inch casserole dish and bake for 30 minutes.
