- Food is the language of love, and what better way to tell someone you love them than by making a delicious, homemade pizza?
- Ingredients:
- 1 roll shop-bought pizza base
- 3bsp tomato puree
- 200g chopped tomatoes
- 1tbsp oregano
- 1tsp salt
- 1tsp pepper
- 125g mozzarella pearls
- 1 bottle Cottage Delight Basil Pesto Dressing
- fresh basil, for serving
Cooking Method
Preheat oven to 200 degrees.
Roll out the pizza dough on parchment paper. Gently shape it into a heart. Or, cut dough in the shape of a heart using a pizza cutter or sharp knife.
Now, create the pizza sauce. Add the puree, chopped tomatoes, salt, pepper and oregano to a small mixing bowl and mix well.
Top heart shaped dough with the sauce and mozzarella. Bake for 20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown. Serve topped with our Pesto Dressing and fresh basil.
