Slow Cooker Plum & Hoisin Ribs

2kg baby back pork ribs
1 jar Plum & Hoisin Sauce
Cooking spray
Salt and pepper, to taste

Cooking Method

  1. Spray inside of slow cooker with cooking spray

  2. Remove inner skin (membrane) from ribs and place is slow cooker. Discard the skin

  3. Brush half of your sauce over the ribs (save the other half for later)

  4. Season with a good amount of salt and pepper

  5. Cover with lid and cook on low setting for 8 hours or high for 4 hours. We recommend the low setting for ribs that fall off the bone and melt in your mouth

  6. When the ribs are cooked, transfer carefully to an oven tray lined with parchment paper

  7. Brush the remaining sauce over the ribs and grill in a preheated oven at 220°C for 10 minutes or until the edges begin to char and crisp
