Giant Onion Bhaji

Finely sliced onion smothered in a simple, fragrantly spiced Korma batter and fried to crispy perfection.
3 White Onions
Small Bunch Coriander
1/2tsp Turmeric
1/2tsp Chilli Powder
100g Plain Flour
100ml Pint Water
1 Egg
3tbsp Korma Paste
1 Litre Sunflower Oil (For Frying)

Cooking Method

  1. Pour 1 Litre of Sunflower Oil into a deep pan on high heat until a cooking thermometer reaches 160°C

  2. Finely slice 3 Onions and fresh coriander and add to a bowl

  3. Add all remaining ingredients and stir until combined

  4. Divide the mixture into 10 round portions and add to the frying oil

  5. Cook for 5 minutes or until golden brown and enjoy!
