From our origins in a Home Kitchen

Cottage Delight was founded in 1974, originally creating handmade butter fudge. Over the subsequent years Cottage Delight range grew to include jams, marmalades, curds, chutneys, table sauces and many more delectable delights. Five delicious decades later, we are still residing at our home in the heart of the Staffordshire Moorlands and continue to create our original fudge recipe today. Our incredible journey would not have been possible without the support of the independent trade and we remain loyal to these local retailers.

We’ve come a long way since 1974, although our artisan methods have not changed since our cottage kitchen beginnings, the world has. The new look of our jars marks a renewed commitment to a sustainable future whilst still retaining our signature home-made taste of Cottage Delight. Here’s to the next 50!

To our contemporary Artisan Recipes

When creating our tempting treats, we carefully curate recipes that will be something special for our foodie fans. Our dedication to traditional methods and quality ingredients in our punchy pickles, delicious dressings, fabulous flavour fusions and others, is paramount to our products – which have won an amazing 222 Great Taste Awards since the awards began.

But our incredible journey would not have been possible without the support of independent trade and we remain loyal to these local retailers; our preserves pickles, chutneys and sauces are only available through independent retailers such as garden centres, farm shops, delis and more; as well as at local fine food festivals.

As we continue into our 50th year and beyond, we continue our mission to bring new flavours and heaps of inspiration to your table, providing possibility and potential, with a touch of sparkle. Because our juicy jams aren’t just for spreading on toast, and our chunky chutneys aren’t just for serving with cheese.

We believe in celebrating flavour, bringing people together to explore new ways to enjoy food and embark on their own flavour adventures because we believe that great taste means great times – and great times are always worth celebrating!

A celebration of 50 years...

With a renewed commitment to a sustainable future, our 50th anniversary marks the perfect opportunity to challenge our processes and help alleviate the increasing demands on our environment.

We have removed over 22 tonnes of paper and packaging from our processes annually.
30% decrease in virgin plastics usage.
Now 100% recyclable glass jar product.

We are delighted to announce that Cottage Delight Limited have made an agreement to purchase Fosters Foods from Moguntia Food Limited.
