Enhance your classic side dish of mash potato with a kick of horseradish. Delicious paired with red meats.
4 large russet potatoes, peeled and chopped
Salt to season
150g butter
120ml milk
240g sour cream
3tbsp Classic Horseradish Sauce
Chives (for garnish)

Cooking Method

  1. In a pot, cover potatoes with water and season with salt. Bring to a boil and cook until potatoes are soft, around 20 minutes. Drain and return to pot. Use a potato masher to mash potatoes until smooth.

  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter with milk until warm. Pour mixture over potatoes and stir. Then, stir in sour cream, Classic Horseradish Sauce and season with salt. Serve with chives or chosen garnish or add to cottage pie.
